EFFECT OF CIRCUIT TRAINING ON BASKETBALL SKILLS AMONG BASKETBALL PLAYERS IN SATARA
Abstract
The primary goal of the study was to evaluate girls playing basketball of KSD Shanbhag Vidyalaya in Satara. A total of 40 girls were chosen at random from KSD Shanbhag Vidyalaya Satara for this study. The individuals' ages varied from 12 to 15 years old. The Johnson Basketball Playing Ability Test, created by L. William Johnson, was used to gather the data. A statistical tool for data analysis was the percentage. The results showed was comparison in two groups. In the field goal test Experimental Group showed mean score pre-test (8.9) to post-test (17.6) and Control Group mean score (6.6) to post-test (5.9). In Basketball Throwing for Accuracy Experimental Group mean score pre-test (6.15) to post-test (9.5) and Control Group mean score pre-test (2.1) to post-test (2.05). In the Basketball Dribble Test Experimental Group mean score pre-test (9) to post-test (21.5) and Control Group mean score pre-test (5.25) to post-test (1.9).
