COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF PERSONALITY TRAITS AMONG THE SWIMMERS AND NON-SWIMMERS IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Abstract
This research study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of personality traits among swimmers and non-swimmers within the age group of 18 to 25 years. The study will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), focusing on a total of 30 participants (15 swimmers and 15 non-swimmers). By examining personality factors such as extraversion, Agreeableness, conscientiousness, Neuroticism and Openness, we seek to understand how swimming participation influences an individual’s overall personality profile. The research will employ both quantitative and qualitative methods to explore these differences and their implications. In this research we conclude that Swimmers are able to swim with proper style and non-Swimmers are not able to swim properly
