A COMPARISON OF SURYA NAMASKAR'S IMPACT AMONG THE STUDENTS OF BHARATI VIDYAPEETH (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY), COLLEGE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION & COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRY'S EXPLOSIVE STRENGTH OF THE LOWER EXTREMITY
Abstract
The primary aim of the research was evaluating the impact of Surya Namaskar training on the explosive strength of the lower extremities in students at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Physical Education & College of Optometry. Total of 25 male students were chosen at random from each college for this study. A six-week training regimen was administered to the subjects five days a week. The age range of the subjects was 18 to 25. The researcher applied the standing broad jump test for explosive strength in order to gather data. An analysis of variance (ANOVA), a statistical tool for descriptive statistics, was applied to the data with the use of MS Excel software. According to the study, there was a noteworthy distinction between the guys from both colleges in the pre- and post-test phases. Six weeks of Surya Namaskar practice greatly increased the Lower Extremity's Explosive Strength in students at Pune's Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Physical Education & College of Optometry
