A STUDY OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS OF NORTH-EAST FOOTBALL PLAYERS STUDYING IN PUNE CITY

Abstract

The main purpose of the study was to survey on Socio-economic status of North-east football player studying in Pune city. For this study total 50 students were randomly selected from Noth-east football player studying in Pune city. The subject`s age ranged in between 18 to 25 years. The data ware collected with the help of a standard questionnaire by Aggarwal et. al. To determine the Socio-economic status, percentage was employed as a statistical tool to analysis the data. The scale consists of a total 22 responses. Each question has different responses. The dataset encompasses various socio-economic indicators such as income taxes, educational backgrounds, family belongings, and lifestyle details of North-eastern families in urban settings like Pune. It provides insights into their financial capacities, socio-economic status, and well-being, guiding policies on taxation, education, urban planning, and social welfare to promote equitable development and enhance socio-economic well-being in the region
